Artist statement
I am a Los Ángeles–based ceramic artist creating handmade pieces that blend organic form, subtle texture, and modern simplicity. Rooted in the tactile nature of clay, the work celebrates the origin story of each piece, an Ode.
Drawing inspiration from the landscapes, light, and cultural energy of Los Ángeles, pieces that feel both grounded and contemporary. The work often explores the relationship between utility and art, creating vessels, sculptures, and functional objects that invite everyday connection while maintaining a strong sculptural presence.
Working from the studio in LA, Ode Ceramic focuses on small-batch, slow-made ceramics that honor craftsmanship, natural materials, and thoughtful design. The pieces portray authenticity, intention, and the quiet beauty of handmade work.
